Friday 13 March 2026 Whole School Newsletter 13 March 2026 We were excited to welcome engineer, Halil Bedivi, who spoke in assembly about what it's like to be an engineer and how engineers help solve real-world problems. He shared his journey into engineering and talked about the projects he's worked on. One highlight was hearing about his work on the Bepi Colombo spacecraft and its mission to Mercury, launched in 2018 and due to arrive in 2027. A really inspiring talk to spark some great ideas for Junior Engineering Award entries! Another visitor this week was author Judith Eagle, who ran a workshop and book signing all linked to her new book, Blitz Sisters.
Friday 6 March 2026 Whole School Newsletter 6th March 2026 What a wonderful celebration of books and reading! It was joyous to see the children in their costumes and there were some fantastic potato characters too - thank you to families for supporting the day. Seeing so many different costumes reminds us of the multitude of stories there are for children to discover and enjoy.

Friday 30 January 2026 Whole School Newsletter 30 January 2026 We have been looking hopefully for signs of spring, and are seeing some quiet signs as the first snowdrops are peeking through in our garden and wildlife is starting to return.
Friday 23 January 2026 Whole School Newsletter Autumn 2025 Week 3 It was wonderful to see so many parents join us today for Stay and Play to take part in maths games with the children. Maths games are an important part of maths teaching at EP - fantastic for number fluency, risk-taking, building confidence and for practice in a playful, engaging way. We hope you've picked up some fun ideas to take home!
