Keeping it EP this week…

A day of egg racing and eggs-plosions!

What a fantastic way to end term! Our 24th Great Egg Race went on far longer than intended, but for the best reason - so many children took part! Every year we are blown away by the brilliance of the egg-mobiles, and love the creativity and enthusiasm that goes into every race entry. Thank you to families for all your support and encouragement in making the egg-mobiles. What an uplifting event!

There was larva and laughs as Year 3 had an explosive end to their Forces of Nature topic when they erupted their volcanoes today.

We’ve no class newsletters this week, but some Junior classes have holiday challenges or worksheets coming home. Please look out for these - especially Year 6.

Holidays are of course a wonderful chance to take time for reading, relaxing and talking together. Wishing you all a wonderful fortnight and, to those celebrating, a very happy Easter and Passover.

There is no Inset day at the start of term, so we look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday 13th April!

Run Kids Run

We are disappointed to hear from Run Kids Run organisers this week that due to the Kings Cross estate planning works on Lewis Cubitt Square, the run on 17th May is unlikely to happen. We are waiting for more news from them on either a new date or location, and will update with any news. We know everyone wants to race again!

Anyone for Tennis?

Rudolph School of Tennis are offering free tennis sessions for children aged 8 to 16. The sessions will take place at Parliament Hill Fields Tennis Courts from 10am to 1pm on Saturday 4 April and Saturday 11 April. There is no sign up required, simply turn up on the day and play.

More details of the free sessions and the other available camps can be viewed here. Any queries, please contact Rudolph on info.rudolphschooloftennis@gmail.com  07497114513.
