We went to Gunnersbury Park Museum to learn about survival in the Stone Age – turns out we would have been ok back then! (Well, most of us!)
We also learnt about farming and the 3 different period that the Stone age is broken into – Palaeolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic. We learnt about wattle and daub and the types of shelters that people then would have used. We also learnt about the type of farming they would have done and that this was the period when farming really developed.
