This week you designed and made your own chocolate during our workshop with Carl from the Ministry of Chocolate. This week, I would like you to write a script that is advertising your chocolate.
It might go a little like this…
“You’ve heard of chocolate before, and I bet you’ve heard of marshmallows before, but have you EVER heard of Chocomallows? These unique new chocolates have been taking the word by storm….”
You’ve probably had or heard of chocolate before but was your chocolate Fairtrade. Fairtrade is where the buyer of the cocoa beans pays the same money every time and the system currently now works with over 1.7 million workers and farmers. 93% of the UK’s products are now labelled with the Fairtrade symbol. Found in the late 1950s, Fairtrade was discovered when Oxfam started to sell crafts to Chinese refugees. That was how Fairtrade was invented. In 1994, Green & Black’s Maya gold was the first chocolate in the UK to carry the Fairtrade mark, leading many organizations to follow.

Hey There. You might think that chocolate is just unhealthy, sugary bars right? But there’s a lot more than that. Do you want why its unhealthy? Well you can! But there’s one thing, there are three different types of chocolate we all know. Dark Chocolate, White Chocolate and Milk Chocolate. The most healthiest is the Dark Chocolate due to the cocoa paste and the most unhealthiest is White Chocolate even though its my favourite! And these are the Ingredients for chocolate.
