Year 6 have been learning about how to write enticing recipes with clear instructions, technical vocabulary and imperatives! We tried a carrot cookie recipe from WW2 firsthand and learned why carrots were a popular ingredient in the war – as well as the story behind carrots helping you to see in the dark! We can’t wait to try the finished product!
