On Friday, Year 5 spent a wonderful (but chilly) day by the River Thames. We explored the foreshore and examined the many amazing invertebrates living in the Thames. We also learnt more about the journey of the Thames from source to mouth, the food chain in a river, uses of rivers and then finally spent some time on Chiswick Pier measuring the pH of the water as well as the speed of the river.
