Year 3 were very lucky last week to have the opportunity to become engineers and architects for the day. We had to design and build earthquake proof shelters out of nothing more than newspaper and cable ties! The most important tip was to always remember to use triangles as they are the strongest shape. Have a look around you and you may see triangles being used to strengthen all sorts of different structures.
