On Friday 6 May, Nursery went to the ‘Secret Garden’ on Hampstead Heath for a minibeast hunt.

The Education Rangers were amazed by our minibeast facts and they also taught us a lot too!

We were extremely adventurous carefully locating minibeasts in meadow, under logs and also in the pond.

We found lots of different minibeasts and used a picture key to find out what they were all called.

After we made our own minibeasts using natural materials – clay, twigs, leaves, stones and flowers! We were so proud of our creations and the Education Rangers let us take them home!

It was so much fun!
