On Tuesday, Year 3 traveled back in time and became residents of the Eleanor Palmer Workhouse! We picked Oakum, cooked and ate gruel and washed the dirty clothes of the recent residents with carbolic soap. They were filthy! We had two very strict taskmasters overseeing our work and we weren’t even allowed to talk!
