On a sunny, but blustery day, Year 5 went down to Southwark to investigate the Thames. We learnt that Thames flows east and that the water has a neutral pH balance. We found historic artefacts from the Georgian times, Victorian and more recent things like a bike brake! It was a great day and we learnt loads about the river foreshore.
