This morning, our Year 4 class were the first ever group of pupils to visit the Roman bath and house on Lower Thames Road. Likely to have belonged to a wealthy merchant, the large villa included its own private bathhouse, with separate cool, warm and hot rooms for bathing! We were so impressed with the building remains, and learnt lots about what Londinium contained.
