Blessed with lovely weather, Year 4 recently took a trip to Hampstead Heath and the Secret Garden to learn all about how to be a modern survivor! This workshop included making our own dens and shelters to live in, in the wild but we also built our own fires to keep us warm or to cook food on. Using flint, cotton wool, and kindling we would definitely be able to send smoke signals if we are ever lost or trapped in Hampstead Heath!
