Although the weather was far from perfect, we recently took a trip to the mystical Secret Garden in Hampstead Heath to enjoy a fantastic workshop all about fire making and shelter building in a survival situation. Even though the weather was damp this did not stop us from building some incredible fires using flint, cotton wool, and kindling which kept us nice and warm throughout the rain.
