Year 4 experiment with ‘electro dough’

As part of their work on electricity Year 4 carried out a test to see how conductive ‘electro dough’ is.  They rolled out a 60 centimetre sausage and tested how well electricity travelled to a bulb placed at 10cm intervals along it.  Most children predicted  that energy would be used up travelling through longer lengths of dough and the bulb would get dimmer.  Were they right???
