What’s in the bag?

Today Year 1 were visited by a Lab Manager for Education & Science at The Francis Crick Institute. She delivered a workshop entitled: What’s in the bag?

Year 1 became mini-scientists – all wearing a smart white lab-coat and working scientifically with a real scientist!

The workshop encouraged the class to investigate a mystery item using their senses.  They worked together to gather evidence and communicate their observations during the experiment. This experience ensured they used their senses to explore and understand the world around them.

So… what was in the bag?
