Nursery have a new topic – Minibeasts – so we visited Hampstead Heath and the wonderful Education Centre took us to their secret garden for a bug hunt. We found lots of interesting invertebrates in the pond, in the trees and under logs, then took a good look at them under magnifying glasses. We even managed to find insects on our way to the Heath and under the tree while we were eating our lunch! The grown-ups at the HEath were very inmpressed with our knowledge of invertebrates.
