Wow what a fantastic first trip and what lovely weather for a trip down Regent’s Canal. I hope the children came back with lots of tales from our fantastic morning on the Jenny Wren. We travelled all the way to Little Venice and back; on route, we saw many different birds including goslings, moorhens and a coot’s nest. We spotted the cow in a garden, the floating restaurant, a man fixing the canal in a diving suit, lots of lovely boats and the African hunting dogs at the zoo. We all loved the trip and shared our favourite moments when we got back to school. We sang sea shanties and waved happily to passers-by. Thank you again to those adults that came with us not only for helping us but also for being such good sports.
