Yesterday, Year 6 visited South Hampstead Synagogue as part of their week of Holocaust education, exhibitions and discussion. We had a lesson with Helen, who taught us about the story of a German Jewish boy in 1938 and we looked at artifacts and pictures from the time. The children were so knowledgeable about the period and also asked some really insightful questions during the session. After that, we were able to met the Rabbi Eli and he taught us a bit more about the Jewish faith and their practices.
