Yesterday, Year 6 went to RAF Hendon to learn all about the fighter planes from WWII. We saw Spitfires, Hurricanes and Flying Fortresses. We were lucky enough to do a workshop all about the Home front and had to rush into the shelter when the air raid siren went off half way through! We learnt a lot and had a lovely day immersed in WWII!
