This week has been busy with all things pumpkin. We have listened to Pumpkin Soup by Helen Cooper and become inspired to create our own delicious soup! We used lots of ingredients, worked hard at cutting the tricky pumpkin, teary onion and cooked our soup. We all tried it at snack time and most were pleasantly surprised! It was also a hit at Club EP and with the Eleanor Palmer teachers. We loved the soup so much that we had to write down the recipe for our mummies and daddies. We all worked hard using our phonics and fantastic handwriting. We have also looked at the art work of Yayoi Kusama, inspired by her bright colours, sculptures, installations and paintings, we created our own pumpkin artwork. Here are some photos of our busy week!
