Year 4 have been incredibly fortunate to have visited Hampstead Heath to learn about orienteering and map reading skills! Having spent the lunch break sun bathing and exploring the wonderful adventure playground we sat down to plot our route around the Heath to find a series of hidden questions and clues. All we had was a map, a clip board, a pencil, a compass and a great sense of adventure, We were so fortunate that it was such a lovely day and the children learned so much about directions, map reading skills and of course… teamwork!
