Today we cooked our low food miles dishes that we designed a few weeks ago. They were delicious and it was great fun to be cooking in school! We also evaluated the meals we had made according to the specification at the beginning of the project. We rated them out of 10 for taste, look and how many food miles the combined ingredients were. Then we thought about what we would do differently if we were to make the meal again – most of us would swap out more exotic ingredients to find substitutes that are more local!
