A different Day for Change this year. We wanted to raise awareness of the biodiversity crisis on our doorstep and the wider threat of climate change and damage to our planet. After workshops in school, we all made our way up to the Heath armed with single-use plastic free picnics! What’s more, we made the ITV news as, unbeknown to us, the government announced a ban on plastic straws, stirrers and cotton buds the same day!
