How to churn your own butter!

You will need:
1 room temperature tub of double cream
1 lemon
A teaspoon of salt
A handful of chopped parsley

First, whisk the cream with a kitchen whisk or use a jam jar to shake the cream until it looks like scrambled eggs!

Next, pour the mixture through a tea towel into a bowl to separate the curds and whey. Squeeze out as much liquid as possible.
The lumpy pieces should be beginning to look more like butter now!

Last of all, add the lemon juice, salt and parsley and give it a good stir!

Try eating it on a piece of bread or a cracker! Yum! 🙂
