Today we were lucky enough to visit RAF Hendon. We received expert information about the planes in the hangars (particularly about Spitfire’s which will help us with our information texts) and about the RAF in general. We also did a great workshop all about the Blitz and even practised what to do if there was an air raid and the siren went off! It was a great day and the children (and adults) learnt so much!
