We sell two books with a focus on our passion here at Eleanor Palmer – mathematical fluency!

Due to extremely popular demand we have now sold out of paper copies of our Raising the Game book, but you can still purchase a PDF copy of it which we can email out to you for the reduced rate of £5.00. A hard copy of our Talk Times Tables book still costs £10.00 (plus £3.20 P&P). You can buy them through PayPal via the links below with a credit or debit card (no need for PayPal account). Please note that the office is only open to dispatch books during term time. Orders received during the holidays will be dispatched as soon as we are back!

Talk Times Tables Book

This book was written by teachers for teachers about tackling the teaching of times tables so that children develop real fluency- i.e. fast recall coupled with a deep conceptual understanding that allows them to use and apply this core knowledge. A very timely book given the recent government announcement on tables tests for Year 4!! This book has already proven massively popular and we are now on to our second print run. It was written by a group of teachers from Camden, working together over a year and trialing all the ideas, not least a hugely successful ‘Spring Slam’ inter-school event – full details and quiz sheets included!

Raising The Game

This is our latest book, the result of a research project funded by the Richard Reeves Foundation into the use of mathematical games as an intervention in Year 2.

The book provides a summary of the findings of the collaborative research project and some fantastic resources and games, which can be directly applied in the classroom setting.
