A warm and festive thank you to everyone who has helped prepare for our Winter Fair today! We are truly lucky to have such a supportive and generous school community. Whether you’ve been busy selling raffle tickets, baking delicious treats, bringing in chocolate for the tombola, volunteering at a stall, or simply coming along to enjoy the celebrations, every contribution helps and raises important funds for our school.
Children from Year 6 and Year 5 had a wonderful time at Acland Burghley this week, where they watched a brilliant performance of Bugsy Malone. They came back buzzing with excitement, and a few of our pupils even had the chance to step onto the stage as extras!
We’re also looking forward to returning to Acland Burghley very soon for our whole-school Winter Concert on Monday 15th December. Our school hall has been filled with the sound of rehearsals and the children’s singing is already sounding beautifully festive. If your child is one of our poetry readers, please do encourage them to practise at home over the next week - your support makes a big difference.
On Tuesday, our Year 4 class helped spread Christmas cheer at the Old Vic alongside the 12 Choirs of Christmas. Performing in one of London’s well known theatres was a magical experience they will remember for a long time!

There are 88 lots to bid on - holiday homes, workshops and experiences and vouchers from surely every restaurant and store in NW5! Thank you to everyone who has donated and collected for this. The auction closes on Monday 15th December at 8pm. Time to start bidding!

Autumn Term Reminders and Notes:
Our Winter Concert is taking place at Acland Burghley School on Monday 15th December at 2:30pm. It is an unticketed event and we anticipate that Burghley will allow the audience in from 2:20pm (we will confirm next week). The concert will last for around one hour. After the concert, children will return to EP and cannot be collected at Acland Burghley. We will walk children swiftly back to EP for the usual pick-up process, but likely at a later time of 3:45pm.
We would like children in Year 1-6 to wear either a red, green or black top for the concert. For Nursery and Reception, please wear white or light grey. Please don’t go out and buy something new!

Bookings for Club EP Spring Term will be open from 9:30am Saturday 6th December. Following feedback, bookings will open for the whole Spring Term. A reminder that the Club EP offer is to support working parents and is over-subscribed. Please only book for the purposes of essential childcare.
