Reception have been thinking hard and asking lots of scientific questions this week. As part of our Stories From Around the World topic we read the Greek myth of Icarus and Daedalus and found out how the sun melted the wax on Icarus’s wings. We decided to find out a bit more about melting and sorted a variety of objects and substances into two groups; ‘things that will melt’ and ‘things that won’t melt’.
