The rain dried up just in time for Year 5 to head off down to Chiswick to enjoy a wonderful day exploring the Thames.

We enjoyed some river dipping and found lots of wildlife, looked at some of the flood defenses which local residents have added to their homes, we learned all about processes such as erosion, transportation and deposition, we experimented with the temperature, speed and pH of the river and even played an indoor game!
