Year 5 were lucky enough to get to visit the Francis Crick Institute last week! We learnt about elements and molecules and how the bond together. We then investigated the pH balance of different, mystery powders. Then in the afternoon, we investigated circuits – making noises, making fans fly and using switches to turn on and off lights and buzzers.
It was a great day in an amazing building!
