Today Year 3 visited the Sainsburys on Fortess Road to hang our Victorian Christmas decorations. During the Victorian times children would make their own angel decorations with paper and a bead. Did you know that Prince Albert was responsible for bringing the German tradition of having a tree at Christmas over to Britain and it became very fashionable after that! The children were coveting their chocolate coins just like the miser Scrooge when we returned to school!
