Year 3 had a wonderful trip to Kew Gardens today.  We explored the different kinds of pollinators with our guide Joan.  She was so impressed with our knowledge of different parts of the flower and our explanations of the plant’s lifecycle.  We found out about lots of different pollinators and were surprised to find that even monkeys can do the job, although we didn’t see any of those!!  We also got to explore the palm house and discover some of the amazing plants which provide us with different natural ingredients for our food.  These included: cacao, coffee and bananas.
