Walking in Queen Victoria’s footsteps…

Year 3 were lucky enough to visit Kensington Palace recently to learn more about Queen Victoria’s upbringing, coronation and later life.

We have been writing biographies about this fascinating monarch and it was amazing to see artefacts from her life that we recognised, including her mourning clothes, coronation gown and much more!

Can you spot the symbolic flowers of Scotland and England on her elaborate gold gown and spot the very room she was born in?

We also learnt more about Victoria’s family tree and some of the class were cast in role as royals!

Do come into class to read our biographies and quiz us about Queen Victoria.
