After learning about the three different types of rock, we had a go at creating our own rock cycle….in chocolate!

We started with layers of crumbled sediment and applied pressure to form sedimentary ‘rock’.

This was then heated to recreate metamorphic rock – it looked totally different and we could see the similarities with marble!
