South African food in Year 4

Year 4 spent Friday preparing, cooking and feasting on delicious South African food. We made chicken curry, bobotie, yellow rice, umphokoqo, spinach curry and koeksisters! South African food has lots of influences from around the world because of the diverse people who have made it their home.
