What a fantastic trip to RAF Hendon!! We braved the long journey and had a very successful day learning about planes and helicopters. Thank you to our guide Vernon who taught us all about planes, biplanes and triplanes. We went on a scavenger hunt to find a shark, a kangaroo and a crown and even got to see inside the Queen’s helicopter. We had a lovely day and because we asked some great questions and listened really careful to all the interesting facts we got to have a long play in the playground. Thanks as always to all the parents who accompanied us we couldn’t do it without you!
