Year 3 had a fabulous time preparing for a Victorian Christmas at the Victoria and Albert Museum. We learnt that lots of Christmas traditions were Victorian, including having a Christmas tree in your home and sending Christmas cards. We were lucky enough to see one of the first Christmas cards ever sent and many original Victorian Christmas cards. Then we made our own cards and decorations! It was a great day!
