Team Nursery were so excited to go to Kew Gardens and take part in the EYFS plants sessions. We loved the activities which took us a journey of discovery into the secret world of plants. We learnt the mysteries of plants, like how they grow and what the different parts of plants do!

It was great to explore the Palm House – and we could not believe how many plants people use everyday – like banana trees, Rubber trees, coffee plants and even medicine – like Aloe Vera!

We were blown away by the giant Lilly pads – the Waterlily House was super hot inside!

It was a great day and we had a lot of fun – especially in Kew new children’s garden!
