Happy Pancake day! We all helped to make the  pancake mix; weighing and sifting the flour, pouring the milk, carefully cracking the eggs and then stirring the mixture until it was perfect. Thanks to Sam who was on cooking duty and made over 25 pancakes with some impressive tossing! We got to pick our toppings out of jam, honey, chocolate spread and lemon and sugar. Tomorrow we’re going to find out which topping was the most popular! We didn’t forget to talk about why we celebrate Pancake Day and as a class we’ve decided to give up being messy for Lent!
