It is 10 years since EP made it to the Camden borough football finals…and then we were knocked out in the final group stage. This year, with brilliant Coach Martin at the helm, not only did the boys make it to the group stage, they won their group! So onto the semis, against last year’s winners, Holy Trinty and St Silas. After a nail-biting semi, complete with golden goal and a penalty shoot out……we won and made the final! All our team succeeded with their penalties and it was down to our fantastic goalie to save their last attempt.

So straight into the final…with no rest, against arch rivals Rosary! Another intense match, another draw, more extra time, golden goal….and then, penalties. It was so close but we lost by just one penalty.

Huge congratulations to our amazing squad and coach! As so many of the crowd commented, an amazing effort from the new kids on the block. Watch out in 2016 everyone!
