Year 5 spent the morning baking delicious Rainforest Coookies, inspired by our Amazing Amazon topic. We worked in small groups and adapted the recipe according to the dietary requirements of the group’s members. Once all the hard work in the kitchen (a.k.a. the Lab) had been done, we sampled our wares and evaluated them under three categories – flavour, texture and appearance. There were even enough left over for us to enjoy more of them on the way back to school after swimming!
