As part of our look at the Romans, Year 4 tried building Jenga towers using only their index fingers under two very different systems of ‘government’ – a dictatorship under an Emperor and a democracy under a Senate!

It thaught the Emporer was in unfair and the Senate was fair!!!
i think the senate is the fairest. And with the senate, you could get more done because every body could say their opinion and then all decide together what to do. I think that the one finger rule is most best because your doing team work. I would live under the senate because they would listen to me. My family probably lives under senate we all have our own opinions at home.
I think that the Emperor was more effective because only the Emperor was talking and no-one else was arguing or fussing so everyone the job done (Our Emperor was Che). But the Senate was more fair because everyone got a say and had an idea. My favourite was the Senate.

I think the senate was more fair than the emperor but the emperor way got things done quicker! I also think that the emperor way was better because only one person was talking and we built a higher tower so overall the emperor way was better!

I think that the one finger rule got us working as a team
I liked the senate because it was more fair and in my group we got more done and we didn’t have any arguing.
