Today, Year 3 travelled back in time and became residents of the Tufnell Park Workhouse! We picked Oakum, cooked and ate gruel and washed the dirty clothes of the recent residents with carbolic soap. We had three very strict taskmasters overseeing our work and we weren’t even allowed to talk!
