We have done a great job of raising our caterpillars in Reception. All of them hatched this week into beautiful butterflies and, just like they did in the story, they ate and ate and got fatter and fatter before building their cocoons and then emerging in all their splendour . The children have watched them avidly, reporting all the changes to each other until letting them fly away in the beautiful sunshine today.
